Bring on the Gators

To Michigan fans:
You have the second best team in the country in my opinion and I understand the purpose of the BCS Championship game is to have the 2 best teams in the country, but if you do not win your own conference why do you get a chance at the national championship? Also, all this hostility towards Jim Tressel for not voting in the Coaches Poll is ridiculous. "Way to support the Big Ten." "Tressel is gutless." His vote would not have matter anyways. He was not trying to create controversy. Lastly, go whip USC ass in the Rose Bowl so we can finish the season 1 and 2 in the polls.
To Florida fans:
You have a great team and I am looking forward to this match up. However, one thing I really do not understand is why they say the Gators has the "Florida speed and athleticism." Are you kidding me? Yes, you are fast and athletic, but we aren't? I would challenge any Gator to Ted Ginn in a foot race. I am confident we will win this game, but also I am humble because I know what it is like when the country already crowns a winner before the game has been played a la 2002. See you in 33 days.

Artifical Turf in the Horseshoe

Artifical Turf to be install after the 2007 spring game. Estimated cost is between $400,000 and $600,000. Personally, I think this is the right decision because now they can host more events such as the OHSAA football playoffs. This could be a determining factor in getting recruits to commit to Ohio State. One thing I don't understand is why they don't put it in now or even before the spring game next year. It will be interesting to see what the endzones look like. Will it be the traditional Ohio State/Buckeyes in the endzones or will they change it up.

Major Wright
Safety Major Wright is out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is a hard hitting safety who is 6-1, 210 lbs and runs a 4.55 40. He was in attendence for the Ohio State-Michigan game and plans to schedule visits to Florida and USC in the future. He most likely will not announce his commitment until signing day. Wright will play for the East squad in the Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 6th. All I know is that I would love to see a Eugene Clifford-Major Wright or Major Wright-Nate Oliver duo in the secondary in the years to come at Ohio State. Major is a definite prospect I would like to grab before anyone else.
